Thank you for your window treatment purchase, we appreciate your business and hope you enjoy your new window treatments for years to come.
All manufacturers carry a warranty on their products that assures your shades and blinds will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. The manufacturer’s warranty does not apply to conditions caused by normal wear and tear upon the products (i.e. cords, damage from children or pets, exposure to sunlight/elements, fading.) These warranties also do not include any conditions or damages resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse, failure to follow instructions given during installation, overuse, improper operation/improper cleaning or maintenance. The product warranty is extended to the original purchaser only, in the original window for which it was installed.
For the first year after purchase, Jackson’s Window Shoppe will service any warranty related components for no charge. If the repair is unable to be dropped off due to size or complexity of installation we will schedule an installer to your home without any expense to you. Motorized shade battery replacements are not a warrantied item and will result in a service call charge.
After the first year, warrantied components will be replaced in accordance to the manufacturer’s warranty. Once a warranty repair has occurred and a component has been replaced, any further repairs on the same component will be charged accordingly. Service calls/labor are not part of the warranty and will be charged at our normal rates. You will have the option of receiving the parts for self-installation at no charge or can drop the product off in our showroom and we will replace the component with standard labor charges. If you are unable to find a link for your current product, please fill out the “Contact Us” form with the warranty you require and we will send you the information requested.
If a component/product replacement is needed for a discontinued product still under warranty, we will provide a substitute that matches as closely as possible. In the event that there are multiple products in the same room, only the defective product will be repaired or replaced. Every effort will be made to match the original specifications. If any additional work is done to the product that is not a warrantied item, regular charges will apply.
Repairs brought to Jackson’s Window Shoppe will be warrantied for 30 days. On location repairs are subject to a trip charge by distance from our location to yours, onsite time and parts (if applicable) and are also warrantied for 30 days.
